Much criticism has been released of this book due to the difficulty of really  Zenith Labs Pure Greens Review  accurately gathering data points on something as complex and intricate as the human diet. And while I agree with many of these critics that much of the study's data points do not allow for not scientifically infallible research, the conclusions that were accurately achieved and scientifically demonstrated were enough for me to dig deeper into the ramifications of a vegan diet.

Other research has shown that vegetarians are 50 percent less likely to develop heart disease, and they have 40 percent of the cancer rate of meat-eaters. Plus, meat-eaters are nine times more likely to be obese than vegans are. To top that off, I learned that a plant-based diet is the best diet for kids, too: Studies have shown that vegetarian kids grow taller and have higher IQs than their classmates, and they are at a reduced risk for heart disease, obesity, diabetes, and other diseases in the long run.

Food processors and restaurants from the world over are working very hart to reduce or totally get rid of trans fats from the things that we eat everyday. Trans fats are unhealthy fats from hydrogenated oils that raise bad cholesterol while lowering the good stuff, which leads to the development of heart disease.Since these bad fats have been shown to contribute to obesity, cancer, heart disease and type 2 diabetes, it is very important to try and avoid these whenever possible. There is a good trans fat that is naturally found in some grazing animals such as sheep, cattle and deer. CLA or conjugated linoleic acid is a naturally occurring trans fat.

CLA is associated with helping to decrease abdominal fat, jump starting metabolism, reducing the level of triglycerides in the bloodstream, lowering cholesterol and even improving muscle growth. It has also been linked to reducing resistance to insulin.Taking CLA for weight loss should be through the ingestion of meat and dairy from grass fed animals. But, they do come in supplement form, and you can get CLA in pill as well as powder form. Just do your homework and make sure they are authentic versions, and that they come from a company that is trusted.
